Tetenal UK, the photographic print solutions provider based in Leicester, has started the year in buoyant fashion with the announcement that they will take over the distribution of Champion Imaging products, including photo chemicals and x-ray chemical range. Tetenal UK, the photographic print solutions provider based in Leicester, has started the year in buoyant fashion with the announcement that they will take over the distribution of Champion Imaging products, including photo chemicals and x-ray chemical range.
To support the change, the two key members of the Champion team will transfer across to head up the total Analogue/Silver Halide division of Tetenal UK.
Peter Smart joins Tetenal as Analogue Business Manager, reporting directly into Tetenal Sales Director Phil Barker, with responsibility for all analogue products, including silver halide paper .
Nigel Davis, with his vast knowledge of chemistry products, joins Tetenal as Technical Support Manager for Silver Halide. Nigel will also be offering an enhanced monitoring service as part of his new role. Champion products will run alongside Tetenal’s existing portfolio of own branded chemistry products. Managing Director and co-owner of Tetenal UK, Mike Fawcett spoke about the addition
“I’m absolutely delighted to add Champion Imaging Products into our already broad portfolio of analogue products and the addition of Peter and Nigel offers additional experience and expertise to our already knowledgeable team.
This demonstrates Tetenals commitment to analogue products as part of our aim to become the leading supplier of photo print solutions in the UK, across both the digital and analogue sectors and forms part of our ambitious growth plans for 2020 and beyond”.
Tetenal’s new Analogue Business Manager Peter Smart is equally as enthusiastic about the change,
“Tetenal has long been recognised as a leading business in the photographic print solutions market so it’s a great move, not only for myself and Nigel, but also gives great confidence to all our Champion customers who will continue to be supplied through a strong and stable business in Tetenal.
Personally, it’s also an exciting time to be joining Tetenal. Talking with Mike Fawcett and his management team, it’s clear that they are looking to continue to grow the business and their desire to embrace analogue products as part of that growth is encouraging for all photographic businesses which are still based on, or utilise, silver halide chemistry”.
